The Costa Brava begins about an hour north of Barcelona Airport and runs up towards the French border. Many of its coves and villages have no railway station, so a door-to-door taxi is the simplest way to arrive with luggage. Fixed fares from the airport: Lloret de Mar from €180 (about 1 h 15), Tossa de Mar from €190 (1 h 25), Calella de Palafrugell from €230 (1 h 45), Begur and Sa Riera from €240 (1 h 50), Roses and Empuriabrava from €290 (2 h) and Cadaqués from €330 (2 h 15).

Costa Brava transfers
Costa Brava taxi prices from Barcelona Airport.
The Costa Brava starts about an hour north of Barcelona and runs up to the French border. There is no direct train from the airport to most of its towns, and the coach usually means a change in Barcelona or Girona. A private taxi takes you from the arrivals hall at El Prat straight to your hotel or holiday flat, with your luggage in the boot the whole way.

Prices are for the whole car, not per person, and are agreed on WhatsApp before you travel. The van costs more than the saloon and takes up to eight passengers with large suitcases — useful for families arriving for a week on the coast. Flying into Girona instead? Good to know before you go
In July and August the AP-7 and C-32 are busy on Saturdays, when most holiday rentals change over. We plan the route around the traffic and track your flight, so a delay does not cost you extra. If you want to stop on the way — a supermarket for the apartment, or a coffee — just tell the driver.
How long is the taxi from Barcelona Airport to the Costa Brava?
Between about 1 h 10 to Blanes and 2 h 15 to Cadaqués, depending on the town and the traffic.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for the whole car, whether you are one passenger or four (or up to eight in the van).
Can you pick us up from the Costa Brava to go back to the airport?
Yes. We collect you at your hotel or flat on the Costa Brava and drive you to Barcelona or Girona airport at a fixed price.
Do you have child seats?
