Barcelona Airport Taxi to City Centre

Our airport taxi in Barcelona is simplest when it is booked before you land. Send your flight number and we follow the flight, so a delay changes nothing: the driver waits inside arrivals at T1 or T2 with your name, and the price to the city centre is fixed at €39 for the whole car.

The ride into the centre takes about twenty minutes for 18 km. The fixed price covers the car, not each passenger, tolls are included, and it is the same at 3 a.m. as at 3 p.m.

How long does the taxi take from Barcelona Airport to the city centre?

About twenty minutes to the Eixample and Plaça Catalunya outside peak hours. Allow thirty to thirty-five between 8 and 10 a.m. or 5 and 7 p.m. on weekdays. We follow the traffic and choose the faster road on the day.

Which terminal do you pick up from?

Both T1 and T2. Tell us the terminal when you book — or just the flight number, which tells us the terminal and the arrival time together.

Can you drop me in the Gothic Quarter?

Yes, as close as the pedestrian zone allows, usually a minute or two from the door. Send the hotel name and we will tell you the exact drop-off point before you travel.

Is the taxi cheaper than the Aerobús for a family?

For four people with luggage, usually yes once you add the four bus tickets and the taxi or walk at the far end. For one person travelling with a backpack, the bus is cheaper.

Do you charge extra for a night arrival?

No. The price we quote is the price at any hour, including the night surcharge periods that a metered taxi would apply.
