The yellow taxi in Barcelona

Barcelona’s official taxis are black with yellow doors, and ours is a licensed eco model. You can book it in advance at a fixed price instead of queuing at the rank: from the airport to Barcelona city centre costs from €39 and takes about 20 minutes.

Travelling as a group or with a lot of luggage? Choose the Executive Class saloon for up to four passengers or the Mercedes V-Class van for up to eight. Send your flight number and the address on WhatsApp and we confirm the fixed price before you travel. All three vehicles are shown below.

Officially licensed Barcelona taxis — black body, yellow doors, roof sign, green light when free. Metered inside the city, fixed price for airport and long-distance transfers.

  • Licence Every car carries an Institut Metropolità del Taxi licence and its number is displayed inside.
  • Meter Every journey booked with us has a fixed price, agreed before you travel.
  • Green light A green roof light means the taxi is free. Booked cars come to you — no need to flag one down.
  • Card Every car takes card as well as cash.
